H2O Digital Arts is a program of H2O Community Development Corporation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, WI, with a satellite program in Miami, FL. Our mission is to increase leadership and collaboration skills in children through collaborative songwriting and recording projects. We have 20 years experience as a unique program that brings the studio to the classroom!


NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Our class has no prerequisites and can be elements is adaptable to serve the children with different developmental abilities. H2O Digital Arts is all about COLLABORATION, with all students making contributions across various roles (production, writing, singing & reciting, filming, and performing). There are no passing grades; just opportunities to try new things, develop skills, and have fun while creating. 
WE BRING THE STUDIO TO YOUR SITE.
We are a pop-up mobile music recording studio. We bring all the equipment needed to execute the the program. All we need are students and a quiet classroom space.

BEAT PRODUCTION

Students use digital instruments to make melodies and rhythms, applying core music principles.

SONGWRITING & RECORDING

Students will write lyrics, audition for parts, and make studio recordings.

VIDEO MAKING

Students will PERFORM their creation, learning the process of how music videos are made.

project-based learning
Students work together as a team to produce their a final collaborative song or video, bringing all their talents together, taking different roles in the production process. They will create the music, develop lyrics, sing, rap, recite, and perform, all while documenting their learning throughout, with support from a an artist mentor.

debut day.

All the work the project elements culminate in a finished project that the students get to debut and share with the community. We publish our students' work on our YouTube channel, where they can share their video on social media.
